Adrian McInnes

Adrian McInnes (aka Age) is a Partner and Brand Manager at Strathcona Beer Company. His role has been essential in setting the tone for the brewery’s culture and brand experience. Day-to-day, Adrian oversees various elements of the brewery from the top down.

Previous to his position at Strathcona, Adrian co-owned and operated Proper Design for 10 years, a mixed media print company located just a block north of the brewery location. Because of this, he is no stranger to the eclectic and diverse nature of the Strathcona neighbourhood.

With a rich background in digital printing, silk screening and design, Adrian has contributed to the development of the Strathcona brand aesthetic. He takes inspiration from the skateboarding and snowboarding culture along with his passion for music. A not-so-hidden fact is that Adrian has been a long time music aficionado and DJ for the past two decades with strong ties in the entertainment and nightlife industry. Playing under the name ‘DJ Age’, he has warmed the crowd up for the likes of Afrika Bambaataa, Pete Rock, Souls of Mischief and many more.
